"The neck-less baby with its head almost totally sunk into the upper part of the body and with extraordinarily large eyeballs literally popping out of the eye-sockets, was born to Nir Bahadur Karki and Suntali Karki at the Gaurishnkar Hospital in Charikot.

The bizarre baby, however, died after half an hour of its birth, Suntali, the mother, informed. It was taken to the hospital after its death.

The news about such a baby being brought to the hospital spread like wildfire and there were hundreds gathered at the hospital to have a look. The police had to be deployed to control the crowd.

Run, dont walk, to a theater near you.

Chappelles block party is the best movie of the year so far, and ill tell you why

This is NOT Chappelles Show: The Movie.  in fact, it is far from it.  Dave is not up to his usual shennanigans, and he tones it down for this one.  In fact, dave is not even the main focus of the film, instead the movie really focuses on the "regular folks" that dave invited to his big concert from his hometown in Ohio.  Also the movie really focuses on  the musicians and how they are affected by this whole event.  I mean, dave even manages to reunite the Fugees for the first time in years to play in his concert.  What really shines through is dave's genuine care for the community and just how he is as a person as opposed to some crazy comedian who does crazy things.  Dave is less a main character, but a catalyst for all the events that take place in the movie, and he just sits back and watches as his plan beautifully plays out.
This movie is one of the most beautifully show and edited documentaries i have ever seen, and it really does need to be seen to beleive.  Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) really manages to bring out the humanity in it all, as that could be hard seeing all these huge names on stage at once
Amazingly, dave has assembled some of the greatest living black musicians to one concert like, Common, John Legend, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, the Roots, Kanye West, Dead Prez, and Fugees.

Listen, i know a lot of you dont listen to rap music.  in fact some of you despise it.  But i will be the one to tell you that this is not what you think rap is.  i consider this stuff "alternative" rap,  and its easily accesible to any fan of any music. there is no denying the immense talent that these artists have.   listen, i would reccomend this movie to anyone,  and if you arent willing to pay for it, ill get you in for free, thats how much like this movie.

Soooo, lets just say theres a story about a boy(man) who likes to never update his livejournal. this is his story.
life is going pretty decent these days, as i have been sleeping in the popcorn bins at work. its comforting to me to do that, so dont bash. I also cut my hair, which was probably a bad idea. Oh well, get over it. i did. Ive also become addicted to a show. lost. watch it, youll thank me.   Also id like to say that im an alright guy.   i know i shouldve like, updated more, but i think the reason that i never updated was because i am lazy

Anyways, i likey my job, and i liked the superbowl being in detroit. I went downtown to check it out. here are pictures. dont care?  well youre gonna see em anyways

Madea's Family reunion comes out friday, so umm lets hope i dont die.

So.... the weekend was pretty darn nice.   I had a pretty fantastic Friday/Saturday morning  :) and then i couldnt sleep, so sir dave and i went to Cold Stones (which is new) for us downriver people.  Work went pretty well later that day, just normal, so i wasnt angry.  Some Mielke and Steph and her friend Jen stopped by for some good laughs.  I feel bad for Chris The Security Guard.  He quit.

well welcome me back by commenting.  do it.

Hiya!

BATMAN BEGINS

quite possibly the best comic movie ever made. I'm loving my new job at the theater.  Free movies really works for me. but yeah, good movie.

i could start a movie review section or something that would be neat.

i also like the pistons

Yesterday, all my troubles did seem quite far away.

It all started with sitting at home, much like many of my tales begin, (excluding most that i put in the journal) But hten escalated into something much more sinister...

CHAPTER 3: The tale of the fancy feast
It started out just like any day, but resulted in a day that would promt a young writer to record it in his live journal. For that day, young Christopolis, bold and handsome, spent the early part of the day sitting around like a large squid.(which is quite unusiual for a boy of his energy.) rumours of sledding were very popular that day, for a fresh layer of snow had fallen that morning. Eventually a team of companions arrived at his house(brown, beirnat, and eventually david hammerand briefly leah K. Meier) ready to sled. they arrived at the hill to meet jameson and patrick, friendly giants who enjoy sledding, and continued to play the "hit people" game, as well as he fan-favorite, "sled bowling" and yet, they were cold, so they left. As the giants left, we pondered what to do next...

Hungry, tired, and wet, david, kevin, stephen, and chritopolis wandered around town in hopes they would find sometihng to eat. they found themselves walking down a bright white hallway, techno music blaring, and strange plasma tvs adroning the walls. (not to mention the strange glowing doors)on the trip down the hallway a young, attractive lady appeared and kindly took their jackets,
 "She is nice" thought beirnat.
They were then ushered into a large, resturaunt with only the highest class Dearborn has to offer. As they walked Christopolis noticed a large black fishtank with glowing jellyfish, which made him smile alomst as much as the japanese suhi chef that was sitting in front of it. Through two giant glass doors they went, into an entirley different kind of place. Candles and beautiful table settings set a regal sort of mood.
"this place is beautiful....and so is she"  commented kevin, regarding the resturaunt and our watiress.

They ate.

Arriving at home, they sat down for a bit, just in time for Kelsey to come bounding downstairs screaming that her tire was flat.
David realalized the peril and immediatley fixed the car.

All were happy. The end

Okay, so lets get this baby rolling.

so i guess i left off at around thanksgiving....i never update this thing..

WEll December has been pretty good latley. I mean, nothing big, but oh well

December:

CHAPTER 2: the tale of the perilous pants(the roumours are true)

The End of November was quite good,as noted in the last entry. December has been a time of joyus dancing and celebration of snow and Christmas. Although not much snow, us Michiganders have to work with what we have. All of that Christmas spirit brought along a small gift along the lines of a craft show. And with taht also came good times. Pre-craft show breakfasts,Eternal Sunshine, Beirnat streaking, baskin robbins with leah and kelc and others, face painting, and much more! and that was only one weekend! There was even a superb Christmas concert put on by Mr H's music specialists. specialists i tell you. Followed by one of the more memorable moments of the recent past, a trip downtown made life a bit interesting, arriving at Traffic Jam and snug. (food) i cant remeber much, i mean hey, whats there to remeber, i shall add it in as it comes to me.Christmas best be good, i hope break will bring good memories. or else ill beat up everything. or try...

oh by the way, open casting call for JC on SB 05'.... interested? you bet you are! comment or IM for more info!

eh, yall should comment at least

so much to cover, so little time eh?

well lets see where we are.
OH YES.  as you can tell my life is not too incredibly interesting, yet just enough to merit a journal entry.

Chapter 1:  The tale of the terrifying turtleneck

My life...so drastically it has changed since the days at the DVC.  The hours once spent caling and bonding with fellow mates have passed into nights of pureley nothing, such as TV and the occasional drawing expedition. The month of October came as quickly as it arrived, and was greeted by a somewhat welcome guest known as November.  November brought such gifts as Tool Time, which pleased me to a great extent, meeting fine new folks and socializing with my old friends. But alas, when comes November, comes wrestling.  Now i wont bore you with the ins and outs of my wrestling experience, lets just say its quite an experience. It is quite an honor to be  with such a team.  Lightfest was also quite a joy i might add.   Thanksgiving, my Aunt, uncle and cousin came to visit, a lot of fun suprisingly.  Ah November...  Bring on December

2.A group of fun kids such as patrick, julia, mono, aliisa, becky, and becky's sister and her friend went to a very expensive haunt3d house that did its job and was somewhat frightening, i jumped a few times.
3.then transition right into a little thing that was aDVC lock in. fun times, raves, sleeping.
4.Haloween trick or treating with howard stern, a saint louis cardinal, George Dubya, a taco, a fishing cowgirl, a mexican guy, two glittery Chippendales dancers, a court jester, and....a sack of potatoes.I was Ron Burgundy of course...stay classy.

(Lets Go!)
1WEll monday at the dvc. wanted my lastDVC week to end with a bang. Jon, Ruthie, Emily and i went door to door with the very interesting Jessie Koss, who more than once butted heads with Shafer.Fun times 1 1/2.actually tuesday was pretty crazy back in the                               ol                        DVC. We Dressed up and waited for ol Joe.
2. Republicans were happy, went to the DVC to talk with the crew
3. HUZZAH barbeque at the                  DVC, last day there, some tears, lots of hugs, even more pictures taken. Joe Koss is the man. AL LOOMA

Then later that day a trip was made to steve schmits. Me and ruth and eventually jon made a short appearance, then back to meet Eric J, Julie, Natalie sliva, Angel, Kyle, and my brother at my place to watch a mooooovie. and we did. Then some troublemakers appeared and crashed the party. haha. fun stuff.
5. Hang out with my friend dave, which was fun considering that blockbuster didnt have anything good. let it be.

team spirit [Oct. 17th, 2004|11:51 pm]
[music |Jimmy Eat World-Kill]

Riight. What a cold weekend.Smaller Text

FRIDAY:       well friday, interesting. So the objective is to follow ol eric j and the "jew crew" which consisted of jokers such as nina and kesley and joseph and kyle. Powered by mellow alt-rock ,the "banjos and barnyards" minivan which consisted of ruthie p, lindsAy H, mr Clean, and piloted by yours truly, totally dominated by following the unfollowable. We get there and watch the amazing football game, in some blisteringly cold weather. on the way back was another good time with some fun kids. (mr. Clean ;))

SATURDAY:     Basically a cold cold cold (cold) day in the rain. Thats always a barrel of laughs. Then basically nothing else. YAY. "team Chilly" which was basically everyone on the CC team had a cold day.

SUNDAY:      Oh wow. after typing all that nonsense about friday, im almost bored. Anyways, i go to church, Happy to see friends there, as well Joe Koss who is known as a Catholic. That was quite cool. Then of to play practice. i like play practice because i can go and have a day's worht of weird things happen in a few hours time. especially have freshman tell me what to do. GRRRRR. Then an appempt to go to a movie fell apart after we were almost kicked out of the theater... not as much fun as it sounds. Ah, and then to bills. Oh wait, bills not going. Off to erics. "Team Deathcab" (maybe not the best name ever... i got it) Which consitsted of the merry men named kehoe, greening, and C girolamo, made a long trip to cold pontiac. wait in line. 45 minutes. Get to the door. no tickets. crap. 1 hour. leave. Ihop. Yum. Sunday = weird. unsatisfying. cold WEEKEND RECAP= COLD

notice the whole team theme.  END TRANSMISSION

long time no sea [Sep. 15th, 2004|11:14 pm]
[music |yellowcard-time will tell]

2. Amazing.  Actually not as much amazing, but still eventful.  Wow, i last left off... before reniscance festival... wow.  Anyways, that was a ton of fun,  good kids, afterwards Red Robin and the girl next door.  yeah fun stuff. and then monday,  went to the glorious jazz festival with eric and ruthie and joseph, that was pretty sweet i must say, and i learned how desperate homeless people are.

one week passes by...

The weekend has once again arrived, with the worst cc race of the season to kick it off... haha...anyways, after that, onwards to the football game... well they lost, although kudos to the band.   after that, off to monos for a second until monica and julia took forever getting ready, so off to dearborn music did ruth and i go.(editors note: i must say old men in wheelchairs in the middle of the road ar equite funny, if not sad)  Picked up a stupendous cd by the dirty dozen brass band, and had a joyus time.  back to monos, they still werent ready, but alas we made it to the concert alright and saw Charis, a quite good band, followed by the one and only TMW.    Then Hooters afterwards where i got an expen$ive but thouroughly mediocre ham and cheese sandwich.  annoying waitress too...  But the day ended well i think.

so mr guse has been telling us about this oppurtunity to volunteer for the Bush/Cheney campaign.  So i say why not.  Tuesday comes around and i start to volunteer,   (editors note: people throwing bottles and change at each other out of cars is hilarious)It was like a strange experiment, to put several slightly insane cross country maniacs  in one room wiht a job to do and see what hilarity ensues and it did ensue.   yes.  hilarity did ensue.  we met Joe , a very odd, yet funny guy who is cool and very freindly and helped us along with everything necessary.  Wednsday comes by and a few new faces are added, such as eric j , leah meier, monica and stephanie dickinson, strange eh?
still fun times. well that was a long post

well well lets see, today i ran a lot, i ran some flippin stupid time trial thing, and it pissed me off.  Man, CC is getting consistently more annoying.

what else.... umm ive been just hanging out recently, im planning on going t othe Renicasnnce Festival (sp)On saturday, which should be mucho fun.

Oh yeah, the other day was very fun, me and sir Jonathan Shafer of Camelot and his merry men(consisting  of Myself, my brother joe and Kevin brown bag.)  We tried to get into the very over protected rally of our President George W Bush.  WE were directed to several different Entrances...none of them were open to the public, we were rejected so many times that we decided to sneak in through the woods...not a good idea, we got stopped by a cop again...we had to wait till the prez left, then we went in.....yay....
